The Strand Management view customer service as paramount and the
office is a shop front, easily accessible to the community. The
Strand Office staff are available to assist community groups to
plan and implement events.
The Strand’s length allows for multiple leisure and recreation
facilities. These are:
- Tobruk, the freshwater Olympic swimming pool
- The saltwater Kissing Point Rock Pool
- Ocean swimming beaches protected by stinger resistant net enclosures
- Playgrounds, including a fantastic water park, and two toddler's
playgrounds
- A basketball court/teenage play area
- A 2.2km walk/jogging track with eight exercise stations
- 22 free barbecues and 52 tables with seating
- Restaurants, bars, cafes, ice creamery
- Sea kayak hire, sky diving landing site, rock climbing, 3 outrigger
clubs, 2 surf lifesaving clubs and a sailing club
- Large open spaces used for community events and sporting activities
including boot camp, yoga, tai chi and football
- The Kissing Point Military Museum.
