Come along and see our new Greening, Urban Stormwater, Total Water Cycle Management and Sustainability Displays. Come and see the friendly Environmental Management staff at Eco Fiesta and be part of our interactive displays and learn more about the importance of maintaining water quality in a tropical urban environment and how to create a water saving garden in your own backyard using local native species and some simple water saving techniques. Find out more about Council projects including Greening Townsville, School Shade Trees Program, Creek to Coral, local Envirofund projects, partnerships with local community groups, environmental management systems, habitat management and the importance of making use of local native trees and shrubs in your own gardens. |
