An event where Churches from across Townsville and Thuringowa come together to create the Christmas message in story, song and festivity. Finale consisting of a parade along the promenade followed by a short service

Write On
Do u like writing and are aged between 13 and 16? Write an original short story of 1000 words or less and be in the running to win fantastic prizes including gift vouchers and an author visit for your school. Short stories must be received by the Townsville Library Service by 4 February, 2005.

Chill Zone
Do u like reading, have great stamina and are aged between 12 and 16? This is for U!! Aitkenvale Library is hosting a read-a-thon between 17 and 21 January. Win great prizes for Chilling Out.
